Cutting Technologies Ltd was created in 2003 by people who had been in laser cutting, laser engraving, engineering, materials science and related industries for many years. We invested in the latest lasers and associated technology, and searched for the right environment to ensure the business was able to meet our customer's needs from day one. The focus of the business plan was to offer an excellent UK laser cutting service to our customers, to allow every member of the team to enjoy working at the company, oh, and to make a bit of money. To date we've managed the first two! In the time since our inception we've grown at just the right rate - we have around 500 regular customers, we now have over twenty people in our team, we have three lasers working 24 hours per day, we have some great suppliers,and even our bank manager has some nice things to say about us! Due to our experience and capacity we are able to offer Laser Cutting and Engraving plus allied processes to all types of business. We cut and engrave components in metal, wood, plastics, MDF, Ply and even rubber. We're serious about service, although we never take ourselves too seriously. Our processes are designed to be simple, intuitive, flexible yet focussed; we ensure we concentrate on what's important to our clients. We control our costs to enable us to remain competitive, but if we see something that will improve our quality, service or speed, we get it. We train our people, and offer them the most flexible working conditions we can develop - our staff retention is critical to us. We understand people buy from people, and so our attitude is informal, friendly, open yet very professional - in a recent customer survey the most frequent general comment was "we enjoy dealing with Cutting Technologies".
We feel we're the best in the industry, but then we wouldn't be doing this if we didn't think that, and it's an easy thing to say. However, we work with some of the best companies in the country, and we cut for and act as consultants to other laser cutting companies, so we can't be all bad.
