Why we chose Zenith Park
Choosing a location for a company is not easy. Cost is obviously important, location relative to key people equally so. The facilities in the area, on the site, and in the unit itself are all factors. Geography compared to your client base and key suppliers is critical.
When we were deciding on the location for our company we took three main issues into consideration:
- An environment that the team would enjoy working in and would be proud of
- The quality of people available within easy travelling distance of the factory
- The ease of access to major roads
Our unit in Barnsley easily met our three main requirements.
Zenith Park is situated on the outskirts of Barnsley, approximately 5 minutes from Junction 38 of the M1 Motorway. The unit is spacious, light, and being a recent build is specified to the latest standards with regard to Health & Safety, and access.
Barnsley itself is a market town just outside Sheffield. Long known as a coal mining town, the closures in the 1990's led to a total rebranding and revitilisation of the area. EEC funding has allowed the area to develop into various high-technology industries and the local population maintains a huge pride in the community spirit and work ethic of old. The people who have joined our team over the years are, in our opinion, unmatched in terms of customer focus, technical knowledge, and, perhaps most importantly, common sense!
