We love working with Creative People. It's probably because we all love the end result but would have no idea how to come up with the ideas - we're Engineers and Scientists, but deep down we'd love to be Artists!

Laser Cut ArtWe work with many different customers including Sculpters, Artists, Interior Designers, Creative Design Professionals and Inspired Individuals. Our expertise lies in being able to turn your concepts into cut parts - we understand what you're trying to achieve, even if we have no idea how you came up with the original design! Your designs can come to us as computer files, photographs, paper or even a described idea, and we'll do our best to translate it into something we and our lasers understand. The range of materials we cut, combined with the flexibility of the laser process means we can offer you a huge range of possibilities, and don't forget we can engrave most materials to give you that "extra dimension".

Contemporary Art
Contemporary Art using a combination of materials, including Laser Cut Brass and Copper. Each piece is unique and designed specifically for its location. The use of the highly reflective metals adds another dimension to the piece, and emphasises the 3D effect.
Brass, and particularly copper are very expensive materials, so the application has to justify their use, either from an aesthetic or engineering perspective.

Stainless Steel Furniture A contemporary seat made from two complex pieces of laser cut stainless steel, powder coated and nested. The pattern for the inner and outer box are the same, but scaled and rotated to create this unique effect. Libby Day was the designer, and our thanks go to her for allowing us to use the image.

Lifesize laser cut stainless figures
Lifesize Laser Cut Stainless Steel figures courtesy of Will Nash. Very complex profiles were cut based on actual people in a large corporation. Will then formed neon lighting to match the profile, creating unique and very personal art. Laser Cutting is an excellent process, as just about anything that can be drawn can be cut.
Contact us if you have a concept for a new work of art - we have the skills and knowledge to turn your concept into a real-life thingy!

We offer a very cost-effective service. Our processes are designed to minimise overhead so you're able to afford a completely unique design at great prices.
We're able to work with most image types to turn your ideas into a finished Laser Cut design - you don't have to have intimate knowledge of CAD design to get the product you want!
We offer a complete service from sourcing the material, through programming the work, to the laser cutting and then delivery - leave it to us to handle the project.
We cut everything from a one-off commission for an individual to thousands for a major project - our service is flexible enough and our capacity sufficient to cope with any size order.
Our Quality System is solid - we use a visual system to let everyone in the production chain know your requirements - we don't rely on a dusty manual stuck on a shelf! We track everything from material source through issue levels to who cut your parts.
We buy the best material and use the best lasers to ensure you get the best quality product; we make your idea look fantastic.
We have years of experience of this type of work - ask us for our recommendation with regard to material, size, finish - you name it!
Although we don't fabricate in-house we have many clients who are experts - we can offer you fully finished assemblies, including everything from folding through plating to powder coating.
Our service is country-wide. Although we're based in Barnsley our main customers are in London, Scotland, Cumbria, Nottingham & Manchester
We deliver - we use a local company to do a same-day service; we use overnight carriers and couriers for next day. Standard delivery is included in our quoted price - you don't get a nasty shock when you receive the invoice.
We're actually really nice people to deal with - we may be great at what we do, but it doesn't go to our heads!

We can't list all our advantages here - the page would be too long! Hopefully the above gives you a flavour. We think we're just about perfect, but then we would wouldn't we! Try us and see what you think - Contact us now...

Common Materials Laser Cut

Mylar / Steel / Aluminium / MDF / Acrylic / Paper / Card - the list goes on!

Maximum Individual Part Size

3000x1500mm, but we can do clever things to extend this...

Minimum Part Size

Very Small - It depends on the material type & thickness

Maximum Thickness

It depends on material type, but examples are: Mild Steel - 20mm; Stainless Steel - 15mm; Aluminium - 10mm; Acrylic - 20mm; Wood - 25mm

Minimum Thickness

<0.1mm

Minimum Detail

Again it depends on material type - let us recommend the right material for your design

General Cutting Tolerance

>3mm - +/-0.1mm
3-6mm - +/-0.15mm
6-12mm - +/-0.2mm
>12mm - +/-0.3mm

Effects of Thermal Cutting

It depends on the material type, but laser cutting generally gives an excellent cut edge with a minor heat affected zone

Common Materials Stocked

Mild Steel / Stainless Steel / Aluminium / Acrylic / MDF. Most other materials are available on a short lead-time.

Common Sheet Sizes

It really does depend on the material
