Sign and Display is a broad category that covers everything from a main sign for a supermarket to a laser cut paper pattern for a window display, and everything in between. The laser cutting process is so flexible that even with our vast experience we haven't encountered everything it can do yet!
Cutting Technologies gets involved in all sorts of projects ranging from a complete re-branding of a major high street chain to a one-off sign for an office. Although we don't do installations (we know people who do) our laser cutting service is used to provide exact brand identity so your signs or display materials become instantly recognisable - we help you to build your identity. Remember we also cut and engrave promotional items so we can turn your sign artwork into a laser cut business card, keyring or even an invitation to that all-important launch party!
Display and point-of-sale items are our speciality - you can have a custom display system produced in a matter of days - we're used to the tight lead times we know you need. Fancy a completely new display for your Christmas promotion? The range of materials we cut and engrave, combined with our skill at turning your ideas into reality mean you could be the sparkling bauble on the December high Street!

A sign cut in brass fro the entrance to the 2008 Klimt exhibition held at the Tate Modern. Although it's not the easiest material to laser cut, brass looks excellent in the right context, and has very good corrosion resistance.
Don't forget we also engrave signs - here's a laser cut and engraved stainless steel sign. This is A4 sized, but we can do these up to 900x600mm, or as small as a business card. Have a look at our Laser Engraved Sign & Display section.
Very simple and inexpensive signs can be cut quickly in materials such as MDF - this allows you a cost-effective solution, and you can paint in any colour you like. We really don't mind whether the job is a one-off like this, or a complete project for a high street chain - to us an order is an order!
Laser cut stainless steel letters - we can cut these up to an individual letter size of 3000x1500mm - that's a big letter! We could have cut these in Mild Steel, Brass, Acrylic, Mdf, Wood, Ply or Aluminium.

A Laser Cut & Engraved Window Sign in Fluorescent Acrylic. This was part of a complete (and very quick) re-fit of the store, including point-of-sale and display items in the same material. We received the designs on Tuesday, confirmed the order on Wednesday, and delivered the final parts 8am Saturday - an hour before the opening!
A close-up of our engraved acrylic. This process really allows you to show your brand to the best effect. Have a look at our Laser Engraving Section for more examples of our work, and to get some ideas of what you can do to promote your product.
Of course signs don't have to contain text! Here's a laser cut and engraved sign for a point-of-Sale application, made in stainless steel. Stainless steel signs are used in all applications, from major outside signage to small display applications.

We offer a very cost-effective service. Our processes are designed to minimise overhead so you're able to afford a completely unique design at low prices.
We're able to work with most image types to turn your ideas into a finished Laser Cut design - you don't have to have intimate knowledge of CAD design to get the product you want!
We offer a complete service from sourcing the material, through programming the work, to the laser cutting and then delivery - leave it to us to handle the project. Although we don't normally assemble or install signage we know people who do.
We cut everything from a one-off sign for a small office to thousands of items for a high street chain window display - our service is flexible enough and our capacity sufficient to cope with any size order.
Our Quality System is solid - we use a visual system to let everyone in the production chain know your requirements - we don't rely on a dusty manual stuck on a shelf! We track everything from material source through issue levels to who cut your parts.
We buy the best material and use the best lasers to ensure you get the best quality product; we make your sign or display look fantastic.
Remember we also Laser Engrave materials so you get a full service from one company.

Our service is country-wide. Although we're based in Barnsley our main customers are in London, Scotland, Cumbria, Nottingham & Manchester
We deliver - we use a local company to do a same-day service; we use overnight carriers and couriers for next day. Standard delivery is included in our quoted price - you don't get a nasty shock when you receive the invoice.
We're actually really nice people to deal with - we may be great at what we do, but it doesn't go to our heads!
