Laser cutting and engraving is fantastic for showcasing a brand - it’s elegant in its simplicity and can really make a business stand out.
One of our latest project was all about creating something beautiful.
Terri Pashley Photography is a modern, natural reportage wedding photography business. Having worked in fashion photography for many years, working on titles such as Marie Claire, Instyle and Look magazine, Terri’s wedding photography tends to have a fashion editorial edge.
Terri approached us to laser cut her logo for bridal fayres for a look which was both professional and beautiful.
The logo also needed to be light weight so that Terri could move and attach it to any surface with each.
Using 4mm MDF, I think you’ll agree with us when we say the finished product looks fabulous!
On working with the Cut Tec Terri said: “It was a great experience; the team were open to new ideas and willing to work alongside me on the project to create something truly beautiful.”
Well done team Cut Tec!

We’re big fans of promoting STEM subjects here at Cut Tec, but we’re particularly happy when we can show children first hand what STEM really is – and it doesn’t have to involve greasy, industrial factories!
It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Martin Cook, a director and co founder at Cutting Technologies.
Laser cutting gives architects and designers’ creative ideas a whole new dimension – allowing them to create stunning balconies and balustrading
The renovation of an old piano factory in London has been given a cutting-edge new look thanks to our lasers!
Laser cut panels for balustrading is perfect for livening up any space – it can be both practical and aesthetically pleasing. However, it needn’t be limited to the indoors.
It might be given, but here at Cut Tec, we think working in STEM is pretty fantastic. So, when we get the opportunity to speak to young students, we can’t wait to show them what STEM is really about.
When it comes to panels for balustrades and balconies, there’s no limit to the types of material you can use.
Working on an outdoor project? When it comes to the outdoors, each material can have a very different role to play and can react differently when exposed to the elements.
With the Tour De Yorkshire recently finishing and cycling fever hitting our part of the world again, we felt it only right we looked back on the project we did for the Grande Depart in 2014.
A few years ago we were commissioned to create artwork which commemorated the world-famous Singer sewing machine factory.
Now the weather is picking up, we’ll be spending a lot more time in the garden. Laser cutting is perfect for creating intricate pieces of décor which can really brighten an outdoor space.
The most popular material for engraving is stainless steel and our lasers have seen lots of this over the years! Need some inspiration? Here’s a few of our projects which include laser engraved stainless steel.
Using our CO2 lasers we can create fantastic engraved products on unusual materials such as rocks and stones.
We’ve always maintained that the best way to engage the next generation of engineers is by making learning fun and by challenging stereotypes and our latest project does just that.
One of the main uses of dynamic nesting is to improve material usage and reduce waste – no one likes to think they’re paying for material they’re not using.
Working on a project that involves wood and interested in how we might be able to help? Speak to our laser experts.
We’re firm believers that anything can be laser cut. Are you ready to challenge your imagination?
One of the lesser known capabilities of our lasers is that we can offer an alternative to fabrication. This works particularly well for intricate laser cut pieces which could be used for furniture design.
We worked with leading designer, Kyle Wilkinson to create The Latarus Chair - the centrepiece of an exhibition which showcases the capabilities of lasers.
For our latest project, we’ve teamed up with a bespoke furniture designer to create this elegant table and cocktail cabinet.
