Our lasers helped to set the scene for a star-studded charity event which raised £750,000 to help children in the world’s most dangerous war zones.

We created several unique decorative features for War Child’s Winter Wassail - a festive concert and banquet which was hosted and curated by international actor Carey Mulligan alongside award winning musician Marcus Mumford.

We were contracted by leading events design agency, The Events Mill, to laser cut and engrave a range of décor and table accessories for the Wassail which was held at London’s One Mayfair.

Typically, you’ll find things like canapé trays are done in Perspex but we wanted to explore different materials to stunning effect and showcase something that has not been seen before. So we used annealed shiny stainless steel to create canapé trays and decorative cubes which held tea lights.

Using the same material, we also laser engraved individual table markers and laser cut metallic trees as part of a stunning flower-laden entrance to the event.

War Child is doing hugely important work to support children affected by the horrors of war and we’re very proud that we were able to support the charity with this pro bono project. The event raised a lot of vital funds for the charity and we’re glad we could help in the best way we know how – by bringing designs to life with our lasers.
