The award’s season is well under way here at Cutting Technologies HQ!

After winning the Top SME/Business award at the Sheffield City Region awards in July, a project we helped to create is in the running for tonight’s Restaurant and Bar Design Awards.

The Restaurant and Bar Design Awards, now in its sixth year, is the only awards in the world dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces. It showcases the very best in this sector from across the globe.

The gates of The Stay Club in Camden, were designed by Hungarian designer Akos Bara and laser cut by us!

The Stay Club’s design incorporates Cor-Ten steel which has become a popular choice for designers and sculptors recently.

Cor-Ten looks like raw steel but when it’s exposed to the weather, it forms a natural rust-like appearance so there’s no need to paint it.

We were thrilled to hear about our work being shortlisted. The Stay Club was a brilliant project to work on and to see it go up against such brilliant international venues is great for the whole team involved.

The winners of the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards will be announced during a ceremony tonight at London’s Old Truman Brewery – fingers crossed!
