We’re excited to be teaming up with Cut Tec friend and local designer, Kyle Wilkinson for a unique project.
We’ll be combining our lasers with Kyle’s designs for a fantastic exhibition down at Tent London later this year.
The exhibition will showcase the capabilities of lasers and we’ll be displaying our bespoke range of interior and exterior decorative screens.
On the stand, Kyle will be launching The First Edition – a beautiful range of furniture and lighting which all incorporate an aspect of laser cutting.
Tent London is part of the wider London Design Festival – one of the biggest design events in the world.
We’ve worked with Kyle across a range of creative projects throughout the years and it’s great that we’re able to team up again for Tent.
This is a great platform to showcase what can be achieved with lasers and combining our equipment with Kyle’s designs proves the only limit is one’s imagination!
The exhibition runs from September 21 – 24. You’ll find us on stand D06, hall T1 at Old Truman Brewery, London, E1 6QR.
We’re big fans of promoting STEM subjects here at Cut Tec, but we’re particularly happy when we can show children first hand what STEM really is – and it doesn’t have to involve greasy, industrial factories!
It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Martin Cook, a director and co founder at Cutting Technologies.
Laser cutting gives architects and designers’ creative ideas a whole new dimension – allowing them to create stunning panels for balconies and balustrading.
The renovation of an old piano factory in London has been given a cutting-edge new look thanks to our lasers!
Laser cut panels for balustrading is perfect for livening up any space – it can be both practical and aesthetically pleasing. However, it needn’t be limited to the indoors.
It might be given, but here at Cut Tec, we think working in STEM is pretty fantastic. So, when we get the opportunity to speak to young students, we can’t wait to show them what STEM is really about.
When it comes to panels for balustrades and balconies, there’s no limit to the types of material you can use.
Working on an outdoor project? When it comes to the outdoors, each material can have a very different role to play and can react differently when exposed to the elements.

We’ve always maintained that the best way to engage the next generation of engineers is by making learning fun and by challenging stereotypes and our latest project does just that.
One of the main uses of dynamic nesting is to improve material usage and reduce waste – no one likes to think they’re paying for material they’re not using.
Working on a project that involves wood and interested in how we might be able to help? Speak to our laser experts.
We’re firm believers that anything can be laser cut. Are you ready to challenge your imagination?
One of the lesser known capabilities of our lasers is that we can offer an alternative to fabrication. This works particularly well for intricate laser cut pieces which could be used for furniture design.
