World Cup Fever Hits Cut-Tec

With World Cup fever sweeping the nation, Team Cut-Tec recently took to the pitch at the Barnsley Be Well @ Work 5-a-Side Tournament.

Managed by our very own Pep Guardiola – or at least Barnsley's version, Craig Maw – the team put in an outstanding performance despite never having played together before.

The highlight of the day came with a superb victory over the previous year's tournament winners, showing that teamwork, determination and a bit of Yorkshire grit can compete with the best.

Qualification for the knockout stages was missed by the narrowest of margins, but there was plenty to be proud of.

For a newly assembled team, the lads performed brilliantly and represented Cut-Tec in the right way both on and off the pitch.

A huge thank you to the organisers and everyone who took part. We'll be back next year, fitter (maybe lol) , stronger and with our sights firmly set on qualification.
